Virtual Services
You can now call to schedule a Virtual Care appointment to visit with a Student Health Center provider via Zoom. Virtual Care is appropriate for a variety of conditions. Appointments are available with Primary Care, Sexual Health and Behavioral Health providers. If we determine your needs cannot be met through Virtual Care, we will make arrangements for an in-person appointment at the Student Health Center.

Our experienced staff, consisting of a team of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and medical assistants, is dedicated to providing accessible, high quality medical care for students during their time at WWU, including preventive services, evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic medical illnesses, and health education.

Sexual Health – Offered Virtually
Sexual Health is dedicated to providing confidential information, exams & treatment, and contraception to all students with sexual health or reproductive concerns. During COVID-19, most visits can be first addressed in a virtual appointment and followed by an in-person exam, if needed.

Behavioral Health – Offered Virtually
Our dedicated team of behavioral health providers includes primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and psychiatrists. Psychiatric medication management services remain accessible for both new and existing patients through confidential and secure virtual visits. For patients new to medication management services or with questions about virtual visits, we have a team member available by telephone to determine the best next steps in your care.

If you are seeking counseling, please call the Counseling Center M-F 9:00a-4:00p to talk to a counselor. If you are in crisis you can speak with a counselor 24/7, please call 360-650-3164 and press "1" to reach an after-hours counselor.
Routine Visits
We request that you postpone visits for routine check-ups and medical clearances at this time. Since COVID-19 continues to spread, it is not advisable to visit any medical facility unless absolutely necessary.
