Insurance Billing Update
Starting February 2, 2026, the Student Health Center (SHC) will begin billing insurance for clinic services—including office visits and procedures. See the Health Insurance Billing Project section below for more details.
Open Enrollment period
Open enrollment is each year from November 1 through January 15. You may be able to enroll at a different time of year if you have one of several qualifying events, like loss of health coverage. For more information, see: Enrollment Periods | Washington Healthplanfinder

If your insurance carrier is not on this list, we recommend you contact them regarding your out-of-network coverage benefits. Some insurance companies will allow you to submit a claim for reimbursement.

Washington State Health Plan Finder and HCA
Apple Care (HCA) is a free or low-cost insurance plan offered by the state of Washington. For more information, watch this short video and to see if you qualify, go to Washington State HealthPlan Finder.
